Disable the Group Policy setting that governs Windows Defender Credential Guard.

Navigate to:
- Computer Configuration
- Administrative Templates
- System
- Device Guard
- Turn on Virtualization Based Security.
In the "Credential Guard Configuration" section, set the dropdown value to "Disabled":
