To install a TFTP server use the following commands.

Linux

yum -y install vsftpd
service vsftpd start
chkconfig vsftpd on

apt-get -y install vsftpd

A folder is created at /var/ftp/ which contains the location for TFTPing.

To enable logging edit /etc/vsftpd/vsftpd.conf

# Activate logging of uploads/downloads.
xferlog_enable=YES
