The audio file must be in the following format otherwise the wav file will not download to the phone.

Bit Rate 64kbps
Audio Sample Size 8bit
Channels 1 (mono)
Audio Sample Rate 8 kHz
Audio Format CCIT u-Law


Edit the file sip.cfg or equivalent filename that you are using and locate the section sampled_audio

From the phone menu select the appropriate ringtone. If you have the location number you can make this a default ringtone from the configuration file by locating the extensions cfg file.

saf.2 is number 13, saf.3 is 14 and so on.
